A Advertisement video for The Blossom International School

Date: June 2025

I produced a professional promotional video for The Blossom International School, showcasing the school’s vibrant environment, facilities, and community spirit from a fresh aerial perspective.

Using a drone, I captured a series of cinematic shots highlighting key areas of the campus — from the classrooms and playgrounds to the sports fields and surrounding landscape. The goal was to present the school not only as a place of learning but as a dynamic and inspiring environment where students grow, explore, and thrive.

Throughout the filming process, I focused on achieving smooth, visually engaging footage that reflected the school’s welcoming atmosphere and its emphasis on creativity and innovation. Each shot was carefully planned to capture both scale and detail — from wide, sweeping aerial views to close, intimate moments of daily school life.

This project provided valuable experience in aerial cinematography, planning drone flight paths, and coordinating with staff to ensure safety and minimal disruption during filming. It also reinforced the importance of storytelling through visuals — using movement, light, and composition to convey the spirit of a place.

Interview with Lourdes Crespi

Date: April 2025

As part of a Pearson Edexcel assignment, I was tasked with creating a short film to raise awareness for World Creativity and Innovation Day (April 21, 2025).

For this project, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Lourdes Crespí, a mixed-media artist based in Mallorca, Spain, whose life and work are deeply rooted in creativity. The aim of the piece was to explore the role of artistic expression in inspiring innovation and individuality.

I had the privilege of interviewing Lourdes in her studio, capturing her thoughts on the creative process and the importance of imagination in everyday life. In addition to the interview, I filmed her at work on one of her murals — documenting the textures, colours, and techniques that define her unique artistic style.

This experience not only strengthened my technical skills in filmmaking but also reinforced the importance of using a variety of shot types including close-ups, medium shots, and wide shots to create visual interest and support storytelling.

During pre-production, I planned the shoot using Keynote to create a detailed shooting plan. On set, I used two cameras, two lenses, a boom microphone, and a tripod to capture multiple angles efficiently and avoid unnecessary retakes.

In post-production, I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the interview and stabilise the footage, Adobe Podcast to clean and enhance the audio quality, and Adobe Photoshop to create all the posters.

Bringing back to life Maria Forteza

Date: March 2025

Myself and two others, Mireya Picas and Aryun Gomez, created a short film using AI to bring Maria Forteza, one of Spain’s first female directors to make a sound film, back to life. The project was part of a task to highlight pioneering women.

Maria Forteza directed the short film Mallorca in 1934, capturing the island’s landscapes from city walls to the sea. We chose her because her name and achievements have largely been forgotten, despite inspiring young women in a male-dominated industry.

To create the film, we combined Photoshop for image editing, MidJourney for AI-generated visuals, and Kling AI for animating and enhancing motion. We also used Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and Eleven Labs for voice and audio syncing to achieve a cohesive and cinematic result. Her grandson was delighted to see his grandmother brought to life through this modern interpretation of her work.

Culinary Quest.

Date: December 2024

The task (set by Pearson Edexcel):
To create a video game using any software (whether Scratch, GDevelop, or Unreal Engine) aimed at players aged 10–15, and to include an element that teaches a useful life skill.

I chose to develop my game with Unity. When I began this project, I had no previous experience in game design or coding. Starting completely from scratch, I had to learn Unity’s interface, find suitable assets online, and create many of my own. Using Photoshop and Midjourney (an AI image generator), I designed most of the game’s visual assets myself.

The goal of the game is to complete as many dishes as possible in a short amount of time. If the player adds the wrong ingredient, it is highlighted in red and must be corrected before continuing.

A Making of a Porsche Panamera Commercial.

Date: October 2024

Myself and two others were invited to take part in a professional Porsche commercial shoot in Mallorca, Spain, under the direction of Miki Duran, a well known commercial director based on the island. The production took place over two days and covered diverse locations, from mountain ranges to a racing circuit.

Our main responsibility was to support the production team, assisting wherever needed and managing equipment on set.

In addition, we produced a behind the scenes “Making Of” film that documented the process of the shoot. We collaborated closely with the crew, mounting our GoPro to the camera car and exchanging footage to achieve unique perspectives and dynamic angles that would otherwise have been difficult to capture.

Throughout the experience, we learned to adapt quickly to changing conditions, such as “cutting the road,” a safety measure that involves stopping vehicles and pedestrians at both ends of a road to allow the camera car to operate safely.

The experience gave us valuable insight into professional set operations, teamwork under pressure, and the importance of preparation and communication in commercial filmmaking.
